Automotive Electric LLC in Grand Rapids, MN, more than doubled their size with a 5,500 sf addition ready for occupancy Summer 2024. The addition houses five new vehicle bays as well as a private office, break room and restrooms. This is a design/ build project with HAWK Construction Inc. as the general contractor, and the owner working very closely with us on the design. HAWK supplied our own carpentry crews and concrete crews.

After leaving their long-time downtown site due to Blandin expansion, Cole Hardware built a brand new facility on the east end of town. No more treacherous stairs to a dim basement. The new facility is bright and light and welcomes customers through its open wood, glu-lam truss entry.
When Walmart moved to their new location on the South end of Grand Rapids, its 97,000 sf building became available and was a good fit for L&M’s new retail store. Exterior renovations included creating a new automotive service center, a new “Pick-up” canopy, and a distinctive new “look” at the main entry. Interior renovations included updating employee break areas and restrooms, as well as updating public restrooms.
The 2018 Lake Country Power corporate headquarters is a 68,000 sf new build which includes vehicle/mechanical bays, and corporate offices. After working in an outdated, overcrowded building, the 43,000 co-op members will enjoy the modern facilities located just a few miles west in Cohasset. The vibrant corporate headquarters will allow employees to realize their core mission to: deliver safe, reliable electric service; manage member resources wisely; and serve to help the community prosper.
